The History Behind The Laundry Narrative

I started The Laundry Narrative in January 2008 when I came across the little personal style blogging niche on the Internet. As I was unemployed at the time and had recently moved across the country, I needed a little motivation to get out of my pajamas every day. Documenting my outfits and sharing them with friends and family seemed like a great solution. At that time, I never even imagined that anyone beyond my personal sphere would be interested in my style.

Who is the author?

My name is Fia Kilbourn. I grew up in the Midwest and currently live in the Bay Area in Northern California. Currently, I'm a stay-at-home mother to my little toddler. I'm soaking up every moment of her early years, because I know they won't last forever. When I'm not chasing after her, I'm making food with produce from our CSA, blogging, writing (possible future career move?), reading, or any other activity that I enjoy and will fit into short segments in the day. I hope to add dancing to that list as I miss it dearly.
